Back to list of problems What is the correct way to deadhead roses? Sometimes we are told to snap off the dead roses, or to cut down to two inches below.
Snapping off the heads was right according to the two rose growers we consulted. However we were advised that when a truss has finished flowering, cut down to an outward facing leaf joint, which gives the rose strength to flower again on repeat roses. |
